This 6-hour observation of the Great Barred Spiral Galaxy (NGC 1365), taken by the Star Shadows Remote Observatory astrophotography group with one of our 16-inch diameter PROMPT telescopes at Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory in the Chilean Andes, serves as the logo of our social media sites. Skynet on Social Media
I maintain Facebook and Twitter sites for the Skynet Robotic Telescope Network, and a YouTube site for Project Intro Astro / Skynet University.
I put a fair amount of effort into the Facebook site, where I have over 100,000 followers.
I forget about the Twitter site for years at a time, and (deservingly) have less than 700 followers there...
However, my YouTube videos have had ≈170,000 views, for a total of ≈780,000 minutes = 13,000 hours = 540 days = 1.5 continuous years viewed.
